Tamannaah Bhatia summoned in betting app case
Tamannaah Bhatia is awaiting the release of her new film, Aranmanai 4, she landed in the hot water.
As per the latest reports the Maharashtra cyber cell has summoned her for questioning in connection with the illegal betting app Fairplay, a sister app to Mahadev betting app.
She has been asked to appear before the cyber cell on April 29, 2024, for allegedly promoting the viewing of the Indian Premier Matches (IPL).
Viacom 18, which solely owned the streaming rights of IPL cricket matches, reported that the illegal streaming of the matches caused them crores of loss.
Earlier, Sanjay Dutt was asked to appear before the cyber cell on April 23, 2024, but the Hindi actor sought a new date and time as he was not in India at present.
