Suriya 47: Production set to kick off in Kerala in December
Excitement is building among fans as reports confirm that the production for Suriya’s 47th film, provisionally called Suriya 47, is scheduled to begin its principal photography in December in Kerala.
The untitled project marks a highly anticipated collaboration between the Kollywood star and acclaimed Malayalam filmmaker Jithu Madhavan, known for the recent blockbuster Aavesham.
Suriya reportedly plays the role of a police officer, a character archetype he is revisiting after a considerable gap.
While an official announcement from the makers is still pending, the initial schedule is expected to involve an extensive shoot in the scenic locales of Kerala.
Reports also suggest that actress Nazriya Nazim may play the female lead, with Mollywood actor Naslen also being part of the cast.
The film is reportedly being produced under Suriya’s newly launched banner, Zhakaram Pictures, and is touted as a high-octane action entertainer.
