Suriya 46: Title and first look out today at 10.18 AM
The long wait for fans of Suriya is finally over. The official title and first-look poster of his 46th film, directed by Venky Atluri, will be unveiled today, March 2, 2026, at 10.18 AM.
Produced by Sithara Entertainments, the film is described as an unconventional love story featuring Mamitha Baiju as the female lead. Director Venky Atluri has hinted that Suriya’s character will evoke memories of his iconic “Sanjay Ramaswamy” persona from Ghajini.
The film also features Raveena Tandon in a significant role, marking her return to Tamil cinema after 25 years. With only five days of shooting left, the movie is targeting a grand August 2026 release.
The announcement was made by producer Naga Vamsi via social media, describing the project as a “spectacle in the making” and a “presence you can’t ignore.” Interestingly, the digital streaming rights have already been bagged by Netflix for a record price.
Fans are particularly excited about the fresh pairing of Suriya and Mamitha, with many expecting a perfect blend of high-octane action and soulful romance.
