Sri Raghavender Mutt, Mantralayam

In honor of the 25th Anniversary of “Kargil Vijay Diwas,” the Citizens Society of India, Bangalore, has organized the “Shradha Suman Kargil Kalash” Yatra, a nationwide tribute to the heroes of the Kargil War.

As part of this esteemed program, retired valiant army personnel who served in the Kargil War visited Mantralayam. The yatra was inaugurated by His Holiness Sri Swamiji at Sri Mutt in Mantralayam. 

On this occasion, H.H. Sri Swamiji felicitated Smt. Praveen Bhanu, wife of the late Ex-Naik Hansar Hussain Shaik from Nandyala, along with other retired personnel.

Moved by their stories and aware of their financial struggles, H.H. Sri Swamiji assured them of his support,  to bringing their issues to the attention of the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, and the Defence Minister, seeking necessary assistance for their families.

In his anugraha sandesha, H.H. Sri Swamiji emphasized the significance of the Kargil War and lauded the bravery and dedication of the Indian soldiers who fought. His message resonated deeply, reminding everyone of the immense sacrifices made by our armed forces. 

H.H. Sri Swamiji also recalled the relief camps and generous donations organized by Sri Mutt during the Kargil War and the Pulwama attack.

The “Shradha Suman Kargil Kalash” Yatra symbolizes our nation’s gratitude and respect for the valiant soldiers who defended our country. It is a journey of remembrance, honor, and commitment to supporting those who have given so much for our nation and security.
