Grand Celebrations Held on Tuesday, 30th September 2025

Mantralayam, 30th September 2025: On the auspicious occasion of Sri Durga Ashtami, vibrant and deeply devotional celebrations were held at the sacred precincts of Sri Raghavendra Swamy Mutt, Mantralayam. The day was marked by a series of sacred rituals and spiritual festivities that drew large crowds of devotees from across the region.

As part of the celebrations, the Sri Durga Teppotsava (boat festival) was conducted in a grand and traditional manner at the Sri Parimala Teertha Pushkarini. The Pushkarini was beautifully decorated for the occasion, creating a divine atmosphere for the celestial event.

His Holiness Sri Swamiji graced the occasion by first visiting the sanctum of Sri Manchalamma Sandhana, offering prayers, and then proceeding in procession towards the Pushkarini. Accompanying His Holiness was the Sri Manchalamma Utsava Murthy, carried with reverence and devotion.

The Teppotsava was a spectacular sight, with the deity taken around the Pushkarini in a beautifully adorned float, accompanied by Vedic chanting, bhajans, and the devotion of countless gathered devotees. The celebrations continued into the evening with the Pallaki Utsava along the sacred Sri Madwamarga, adding to the divine fervor of the day.

A large number of devotees witnessed these sacred events and received the blessings of Sri Raghavendra Swamy and Sri Manchalamma Devi. The atmosphere throughout the day was filled with spiritual energy, devotion, and joy, making this Durga Ashtami a truly memorable occasion for all present.
