Sivakarthikeyan announces Ammamuthu Surya as director for SK Productions’ next
Actor and producer Sivakarthikeyan has officially announced the next venture under his esteemed banner, SK Productions.
Taking to social media, the actor revealed that the upcoming project will be helmed by debutant director Ammamuthu Surya.
The announcement has sparked significant interest, as SK Productions has a reputation for backing unique scripts and launching successful new voices in Kollywood.
While the title and the lead cast remain under wraps for now, industry insiders suggest that the film will be a “rooted and emotional” drama set in a rural backdrop.
Sivakarthikeyan, who is currently busy with his own acting commitments including the high-budget Texla and Vrushakarma, expressed his excitement about bringing this new story to life.
The film is expected to begin its pre-production work immediately, with a planned shoot commencement date in late summer 2026.
