Shankar shifts base from Game Changer to Indian 2
Director Shankar is experiencing the busiest time of his career. He is juggling two big-budget projects – Ram Charan’s Game Changer and Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2.
Recently, he took to social media to reveal that he has completed shooting the electrifying climax of Game Changer.
The filmmaker will now hop on to the sets of Indian 2 to shoot the silver bullet sequence with Kamal Haasan.
Both films are likely to see the light of the day towards the end of 2023 or early 2024.
Shankar took to Twitter to share a photo of himself and shared an update on Game Changer and Indian 2. He wrote, “Wrapped up #GameChanger ‘s electrifying climax today! Focus shift to #Indian2 ‘s silver bullet sequence from tomorrow! (sic).”
Indian 2 is the sequel to the film of the same name, which released in 1996. The film ran into troubles and was put on the backburner for almost two years.
Game Changer marks Shankar’s first collaboration with Ram Charan. The film will feature Kiara Advani, Naveen Chandra and Anjali in lead roles. The film has music scored by Thaman.
