Shankar drops major update about Indian 2
Filmmaker Shankar has enlisted the expertise of one of Hollywood’s leading visual effects studios, Lola VFX, for his highly anticipated movie Indian 2, starring Kamal Haasan.
The director took to social media to share his excitement, tweeting a picture of himself inside Lola VFX LA’s advanced technology setup, surrounded by a globe of lights. “Scanning the advanced technology at Lola VFX LA,” he tweeted.
Shankar is leaving no stone unturned to ensure that Indian 2 becomes a true cinematic spectacle, and the involvement of Lola VFX further underscores his commitment to delivering a visually stunning film.
Lola VFX has a remarkable track record of contributing to blockbuster movies that harness rapidly evolving VFX technology.
The production of Indian 2 is going on at a brisk pace after languishing in limbo for about two years.
Indian 2 was put on the back burner and its cast members moved on to other projects following a freak accident on the sets that killed three crew members.
The subsequent pandemic outbreak and Shankar’s fallout with Lyca Productions added to the uncertainties around the movie.
However, the production of Indian was resumed last year after Red Giant Movies came on onboard the project as its new producer.
