Analysis:

Director Gunasekhar has delivered a mythological story in a grand manner.

The director has stayed true to the story and has not tried anything.

This is the positive as well as the drawback of the movie.

The visual grandeur has gone overboard at a few places making the audience feel disconnected.

Samantha has done complete justice to the character.

However, there is feeling that she is not apt for the role.

She excelled in a few scenes but her screen presence leaves a lot to be desired.

Dev Mohan has done a decent job as Dushyantha.

Sachin Khedkar and Mohan Babu showed their experience as Kanwa Maharshi and Durvasa Maharshi.

Ananya Nagalla, Aditi Balan and Gauthami did justice to their roles.

Mani Sharma has done a decent job with the BGM, but the songs could have been better.

The grandeur can be seen in the movie and the graphics are okay.

Rest of the technical aspects are passable.
