Shah Rukh Khan to have a cameo in Allu Arjun-Atlee’s Raaka?
In a major crossover moment for Indian cinema, Shah Rukh Khan is set to make a cameo appearance in Raaka, starring Allu Arjun and directed by Atlee.
As per sources, the actor has already agreed to play a brief role in the film, further strengthening his ongoing collaboration with the director.
“Shah Rukh Khan, who has been working with Atlee on his upcoming film, will reportedly appear in Allu Arjun’s Raaka. He has confirmed to play a brief role given his association with Atlee, Allu Arjun and Deepika,” the source said.
The development marks yet another collaboration between SRK and Atlee after their blockbuster outing Jawan. We reached out to SRK’s representatives for a comment and are yet to hear back from them.
Interestingly, Allu Arjun was earlier expected to feature in a cameo in Jawan, but had to turn it down due to scheduling conflicts with Pushpa: The Rule, making Raaka a notable convergence point for the actors.
Raaka marks the first collaboration between Allu Arjun and Atlee and is being mounted as one of the most ambitious pan-India projects currently in production. Backed by Sun Pictures, the film also stars Deepika Padukone in a leading role. The casting, coupled with Atlee’s commercial track record, positions the film as a high-stakes project targeting both domestic and international markets.
Industry buzz suggests that the film is being developed as a large-scale sci-fi action entertainer. The first-look poster, unveiled on Allu Arjun’s birthday, set the tone for the film’s visual identity, featuring the actor in a rugged, transformative avatar.
