Seyon teaser introduces Sivakarthikeyan in a powerful rural action avatar

The makers of Seyon unveiled the film’s first teaser on Sivakarthikeyan’s birthday, giving audiences a striking introduction to his role in director Sivakumar Murugesan’s upcoming action drama. The glimpse presents the actor as a commanding presence closely associated with the revered deity Lord Virumandi, hinting at a story rooted in faith, tradition, and rural culture.

Released by Kamal Haasan’s production house, Raaj Kamal Films International, the teaser has drawn attention for portraying Sivakarthikeyan’s character as an almost legendary figure during a village festival.

The preview begins inside a police station, where Inspector Aruldoss investigates a violent clash that reportedly took place during the Maasi Kalari Festival at the Karumathur Virumandi Temple. Witnesses describe how an unidentified man attacked several people after chaos broke out over laser lights at the celebration. A detainee then points to Sivakarthikeyan’s character, claiming he is a man believed to embody the divine.

As the teaser unfolds, Sivakarthikeyan makes a dramatic entrance into the station. A woman washes his feet in a gesture of devotion, while the inspector greets him respectfully with folded hands. When a junior officer questions the unusual reception, the inspector simply replies that the man before them is regarded as Lord Virumandi, reinforcing the character’s larger-than-life aura.
