Sci-Fi actioner Immortal wraps up high-octane production cycle
Shooting for GV Prakash and Kayadu Lohar’s upcoming film Immortal has completed filming.
The actor and composer announced the update on social media on Monday, confirming that principal photography on the project has officially come to an end.
Directed by Mariyappa Chinna, best known for the 2019 comedy Jackpot, Immortal marks a distinct tonal shift for the filmmaker.
This time, he steps into the horror genre with a story that appears to blend psychological unease with creature-feature elements. Kayadu Lohar stars opposite GV Prakash in the female lead.
Although the makers have kept plot details under wraps, the teaser released earlier offered a glimpse into the film’s unsettling world.
It introduces GV Prakash’s character as an ordinary man who becomes obsessed with his attractive neighbour.
What begins as a romantic fantasy soon spirals into a nightmare, with a terrifying monster seemingly stalking him and blurring the line between desire and delusion.
