Sathya Jyothi Films T.G. Thyagarajan presents Filmmaker Ravi Arasu Directorial Kannada Superstar Shivarajkumar’s Tamil Debut in Lead Role titled ‘Jawa’
Very few actors have the credibility of winning hearts and love beyond the regional boundaries, and Kannada Superstar Shivarajkumar has been an epitome of such stature. The actor, across the years, has witnessed so much love and support from Tamil crowds, and even had his Kannada movies faring well in Tamil territories.
Adding more to his fame and glory was the unbeatable charisma and stylish swag in Superstar Rajinikanth’s Jailer. Despite his appearance in a couple of scenes, it became the most-celebrated epic season of the year, where his portions were applauded and whistled by Tamil fans. The actor is all set to make his Tamil debut in a lead role with the film ‘Jawa’. It’s a bilingual movie, which will be simultaneously made in Tamil and Kannada.
Sathya Jyothi Films T.G. Thyagarajan is presenting this film while Sendhil Thyagarajan and Arjun Thyagarajan are producing it. The production house has already made some of the finest works in the Kannada film industry, and feels delighted to be associated with the Kannada Industry’s reigning actor Shivarajkumar for ‘Jawa’. The film is directed by Ravi Arasu, who earlier shot to fame for his directorial debut commercially hit movie ‘Eeti’ starring Atharvaa Murali in the lead role, followed by Ayangaran starring GV Prakash Kumar as protagonist.
Shedding lights on the film’s premise, director Ravi Arasu says, “It’s a great honour to be directing an iconic star like Shivarajkumar, who has zillions of fan base nationwide. This is an out-and-out action entertainer, which will 100% satisfy his fans, and at the same time, keep the Tamil audiences engrossed from beginning to end. We have scheduled the film’s shooting from September, and will have the glimpse shot next week, which will reveal the significance of the title Jawa.”
Director Ravi Arasu tots up hinting the title’s significance citing, “The Jawa Bike has a pivotal role in this movie, and that’s all I can reveal for the moment.” While speaking about the film’s cast and crew, the director states that Shivarajkumar plays the cop role, and Samuthirakani appears as a prominent character.
