Sardar 2 gets OTT release date on Prime Video
Karthi’s spy thriller Sardar 2 is set to arrive on Prime Video on October 2, following its theatrical release on September 10.
PS Mithran has returned as writer and director for the sequel to the 2022 film Sardar. The new instalment continues the franchise built around Karthi’s dual roles and expands the espionage storyline.
The film features Malavika Mohanan, Ashika Ranganath, Yogi Babu, Achyuth Kumar, Balaji Sakthivel and Rajisha Vijayan alongside Karthi.
Sam CS has composed the music, while the songs feature lyrics by Nambi, Lavita Lobo, Imbachi and Zeba Tommy.
George C Williams has handled cinematography and Vijay Velukutty is the editor. Art direction has been jointly handled by MSP Madhavan and B Sekar, while Dhilip Subbarayan and Chethan D’Souza have worked on the action choreography.
Sardar 2 has been produced by S Lakshman Kumar and Ishan Saksena, with A Venkatesh serving as co-producer. Prince Pictures and Ivy Entertainment have backed the project.
