Samuthirakani’s Thiru Manickam out on OTT
Actor and filmmaker Samuthirakani played the protagonist in the 2025 Tamil film Thiru Manickam.
The family drama is about a loving family man who owns a lottery ticket shop. After its theatrical run, the film is now available on ZEE5.
Thiru Manickam is a family drama, which is produced by GP Ravi Kumar, Chinta Gopala Krishna Reddy, and Raja Senthil under the banner GPRK CINEMA.
Samuthirakani plays the titular character in the film, who is righteous.
When a poor old man buys a ticket from his shop but fails to pay, he promises to take the ticket after getting the money.
In the meanwhile, the ticket wins a bumper prize, leaving Manickam to go in search of the old man, while his family convinces him to keep the ticket.
Ananya, Bharathiraja, Thambi Ramaiah, Karunakaran, Chaams, Vadivukarasi, and Ilavarasu round up as the cast of Thiru Manickam. It is written and directed by Nanda Periyasamy.
