S J Suryah wraps up dubbing for Sardar 2

Actor S J Suryah has completed the dubbing for his role in Sardar 2, the upcoming spy thriller directed by P S Mithran and headlined by Karthi.

Suryah plays the main antagonist, a character known as Black Dagger. The production house Prince Pictures shared a video of the actor recording his dialogue, marking the completion of his dubbing work.

The film has attracted attention following its teaser, which features action sequences and hints at a conflict involving a father-and-son spy duo. Suryah’s character is positioned as the major threat to the protagonists.

The production has involved an extended shooting schedule, including a major portion filmed in Bangkok. The team has also crossed 100 days of filming. Mithran had previously indicated that dubbing would continue alongside production. He also revealed that the narrative begins in Cambodia before moving to China.

Sardar 2 is scheduled for a worldwide release on September 10. Malavika Mohanan is also part of the cast. George Williams is the cinematographer, while Sam C S has composed the music. Ruben is handling editing and K Kadhir is in charge of art direction. Action choreography has been handled by Dhilip Subbarayan. The story has been developed by M R Pon Parthipan, Roju Bipin Ragu and Geevee.
