RSS Gen Z reachout: Mohan Bhagwat to address youth conference in Mumbai
RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat is scheduled to interact with around 2,000 students from across India during the India International Movement to Unite Nations (I.I.M.U.N.) Annual Championship Conference in Mumbai on August 6.
The event, marking the organisation’s 15th anniversary, will be held at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre and will bring together participants aged between 15 and 19 years from over 100 cities.
Bhagwat’s inaugural address will focus on the theme, “The Role of Youth in Uniting the World, the Indian Way.” Organisers said the conference will feature discussions on national, global and civic issues involving young participants.
The interaction comes shortly after nationwide student protests over alleged examination paper leaks, which eventually led to the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
Recently, Bhagwat also commented on the examination controversy, stating that today’s youth expect dialogue and meaningful engagement rather than unquestioning obedience. He emphasised that discussion and consensus should replace rigid instructions.
