Release date of Vijay Sethupathi’s Thalaivan Thalaivi announced
The release date for the upcoming Tamil film Thalaivan Thalaivii has been officially announced.
The movie, starring Vijay Sethupathi and Nithya Menen in lead roles, is scheduled to release in theatres on July 25, 2025.
The recently released title teaser offered a tantalizing glimpse into their world, introducing Vijay Sethupathi as Aagasaveeran, a chef who runs a hotel named Raghavarthini, and Nithya Menen as his wife, Perarasi.
Beyond the lead pair, Thalaivan Thalaivii boasts a strong supporting cast, including Yogi Babu as Chitthirai, Chemban Vinod Jose as Arasangam, Saravanan as Sembaiyya, Kaali Venkat as Amarasigamani, RK Suresh, Mynaa Nandhini, Deepa, and Roshini Haripriyan, among others.
Directed by Pandiraj and produced by Sathya Jyothi Films, Thalaivan Thalaivii features music by Santhosh Narayanan. The film is touted to be a rugged love story.
Thalaivan Thalaivii marks the second collaboration between Vijay Sethupathi and Nithya Menen, who previously shared the screen in the critically acclaimed Malayalam film 19(1)(a).
