AHA & MAGIZH MANDRAM HAS ANNOUNCED THEIR MUCH-ANTICIPATED UPCOMING FILM’S TITLE TODAY AS ‘RATHASAATCHI’. THIS IS AN ADAPTION FROM THE SHORT STORY ‘KAITHIGAL’ WRITTEN BY RENOWNED WRITER MR. JEYAMOHAN, THE WRITER FOR BLOCKBUSTER MOVIES LIKE “PONNIYIN SELVAN” AND “VENDHU THANINDHATHU KAADU”.

THERE WAS A GREAT DEAL OF INTEREST FROM WELL-KNOWN TAMIL FILMMAKERS TO ADAPT THIS STORY INTO A FILM.

Aha Tamil and Magizh Mandram have announced the title of their upcoming film as “RathaSaatchi” today (7th November 2022).

The short story “Kaithigal” is the work of Mr. Jeyamohan, the well-known writer of films like “Ponniyin Selvan” and “Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu.” According to Jeyamohan, the story behind the making of Rathasaatchi deserves to be the subject of another movie… “A director named Rafiq Ismail approached me and asked permission to film the Kaithigal. Within three months of time Ace director Mani Ratnam considered adapting this story for the screen and later renowned director Mr.Vetrimaran approached me to acquire the rights to the story, and I informed them that the story had already been given to Rafiq”

The film is directed by Rafiq Ismail, the music is composed by Mr. Javed Riaz, and the cinematography is by Mr. Jagadheesh Ravi.

It’s a testament whether humanity exist within armed forces and if existed how it impacts the lives of two individuals  

The film features Kanna Ravi, Harish Kumar, Elango Kumaravel, Kalyan Master and Madras Charles.
