Rajinikanth wishes Ajith well for the Padma Bhushan
Rajinikanth has congratulated actor Ajith Kumar on receiving the prestigious Padma Bhushan award.
The brief but heartfelt gesture came during Rajinikanth’s return to Chennai after completing a shooting schedule for his upcoming film, Coolie.
Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the movie has been generating buzz with its stellar cast, including Soubin Shahir, Nagarjuna, Upendra, Sathyaraj, and Shruti Haasan. With music composed by Anirudh Ravichander, ‘Coolie’ is set to have a massive opening.
The latest shooting schedule for Coolie took place in Thailand, and Rajinikanth returned to Chennai.
Fans gathered at the airport to give the superstar an enthusiastic welcome, and many took selfies with the actor.
Amid the frenzy, reporters approached Rajinikanth to ask his reaction to actor Ajith Kumar being awarded the prestigious Padma Bhushan, in his typical humble and respectful manner.
Rajinikanth then graciously said, “Congratulations,” before continuing on his way.
