Rajinikanth congratulates Ilaiyarajaa for London Symphony debut

Music composer Ilaiyaraaja, who is set to perform his first symphony titled ‘Valiant’ in London’s Apollo Theatre on March 8, received congratulations from actor Rajinikanth.

Several political leaders, including the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, and film personalities such as Kamal Haasan conveyed their best wishes to Ilaiyaraaja on this occasion.

Rajinikanth shared his wishes on his X social media page, stating, “The hands that once played the harmonium in Pannaipuram are now creating a symphony in London. Sir, you make India proud! Congratulations.” He also used the hashtag #IncredibleIlaiyaraaja.

Before departing for London, Ilaiyaraaja addressed the media at Chennai Airport, expressing that this symphony concert would be a grand musical treat for fans. He added, “I am as excited as the fans. Hosting a symphony is not just my pride but the pride of this nation.” He also praised his talent, calling it ‘IncredibleIlaiyaraaja.’

Following this statement, Rajinikanth echoed the sentiment by using the same words as a hashtag in his congratulatory message.
