Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan to attned Ponniyin Selvan audio & trailer launch
Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan will hit the theatres on September 30 in multiple languages. The second part will release later this year.
The audio and trailer launch of Ponniyin Selvan will happen at Nehru Indoor Staadium in Chennai on September 6.
Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan will preside over the event as chief guests. AR Rahman, who had composed the music for the film, will perform the songs live with his orchestra. This will be followed by speeches from celebrities, the cast and crew.
Ponniyin Selvan is a period film based on the popular Tamil literary novel of the same name, written by Kalki Krishnamurthy.
The film features Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Chiyaan Vikram, Trisha, Karthi and Jayam Ravi in lead roles. Prakash Raj, Sobhita Dhulipala, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Prabhu, Sarathkumar and R Parthiban will be seen in pivotal roles.
