Chennai, 14th November 2024 – Raindropss Charity Foundation is honored to announce that Dr. VGP Santhosam, esteemed philanthropist and Chairman of VGP Group of Companies, graced the send-off ceremony for the annual “Vaanmae Ellai” initiative held at Chennai Airport. This heartfelt initiative offers a unique travel experience for less privileged children from shelter homes, members of marginalized communities, and differently-abled individuals, giving them a sense of inclusion, joy, and hope for a brighter future.
Dr. Santhosam’s presence brought immense joy and encouragement to the children as he personally interacted with them, sharing words of inspiration and good wishes. His involvement added a special warmth to the event, emphasizing the foundation’s commitment to uplifting young lives. The children departed for Salem on this specially organized flight, where they will be warmly received by Dr. Brindha Devi IAS, District Collector of Salem, and continue their journey to the scenic hill station of Yercaud. Over the two-day trip, the children will visit iconic spots, enjoy new experiences, and create cherished memories.
Joining the children on this memorable journey are Dr. Sultan Ahmed Ismail, an Organic Scientist and State Planning Commission member; A.R. Raihanah, Raindropss Goodwill Ambassador and renowned music director; and Aravind Jayabal, Founder and Managing Trustee of Raindropss. The “Vaanmae Ellai” initiative serves as an inspiration for these young minds to dream big and see life without limits.
