Producer A Mahendiran of MR Pictures is embarking on a journey as a producer with the film ‘Love Ink’, a Rom-Com Action Drama revolving around the contemporary take on relationships. The term ‘Love Ink’ has become the most trending practise among the Gen Z. The practise of tattooing the names or symbol denoting a person’s identity on the other person, they are in relationship with is commonly seen among many couples in love. It’s a tangible means of acquisition over the loved ones. In other words, the upgraded version of possessiveness upon the partner. The film ‘Love Ink’ delves into the tale of one such lovers, but with the toast of fun, action, and entertainment. The film’s shooting commenced with a ritual pooja ceremony.
Raaj Aiyyappa has been receiving the warmest appreciation for his naturalistic performance in movies like Ajith Kumar’s Valimai, Atharvaa Murali’s 100, and many other films. Besides, he has become a rare species of actor in recent times, capturing the spotlights of both silver screens and OTT platforms, for his recent web series titled ‘Uppu Puli Kaaram’, which has won him great praise. He will be playing the lead role in this movie, which features actress Delna Davis in the female lead role. She has already won the hearts of millions in Tamil Nadu for her scintillating performance and screen presence in TV serials. This Rom-Com laced with action and drama, is written and directed by debutant Megaraj Doss, who earlier worked as associate director in a few movies followed by proving his craftsmanship in directing a few political songs.
Director Megaraj Doss says, “First and foremost, I would like to thank producer A Mahendiran sir for giving me this opportunity. After completing the script works, I wanted someone, who is so natural and spontaneous in performance, and at the same time, someone, who has the charm of attracting crowds with boy-to-next-door looks. Significantly, while watching Raaj Aiyyappa’s performance in ‘Valimai’, I felt, he would be the apt one for this character, and approached him for the lead role. Delna Davis is the heartthrob of Tamil audiences all over the world for her graceful charisma and commendable performance in TV serial. The others in the star cast include Yogi Babu, Dileepan, VTV Ganesh, Munishkanth, Arshad, Pattimandram Raja, Vinodhini, Maran, Subhashini Kannan, KPY Vinoth,DSG ( mark Antony villan – doing a important role in this movie), Maurish Dass, Preetha, Vinodh Munna and many others. Arjun (DOP), Vishnu Vijay (Music), Ramu Thangaraj (Art), Krishnan Sudharshan (Editor), and Suresh Chandra (PRO) are the others in the technical crew.”
The film’s shooting commenced with a ritual pooja ceremony, and the entire film will be shot in and around the exotic locales of Chennai and Tanjore. It will be completed in a 3-schedule phase within a short period.
