Producer R.V. Bharathan on Prabhu Deva’s makeovers for Bagheera

Actor Prabhu Deva’s Bagheera, directed by Adhik Ravichandran and produced by R.V. Bharathan of Bharathan Pictures, is all set for worldwide theatrical release on March 3. While the visual promos and songs have captured the interests of audiences, Prabhu Deva’s multiple looks have garnered tremendous responses.

Producer R.V. Bharathan says, “Prabhu Deva sir has been the entertainer for more than a couple of decades. I would say, he was already a Pan-Indian superstar before this trend came into existence. As a fan, I was always awe-stricken watching his dance moves, and he didn’t get confined to this zone but proved his potential as a successful actor and filmmaker as well. When we approached Prabhu Deva sir to play the lead role in Bagheera, we were doubtful whether he would accept to be a part of this project, as he was committed to a slew of projects. This project demanded lots of makeovers and get-ups, which furthermore made us doubtful about his approval. Surprisingly, he was excited about the script and decided to be a part of it. His energy levels never faded even once during the whole project, which in turn, enlivened our spirits to a greater extent. It’s not just about getups, but he had to inherit unique body language, mannerisms, and dialogue deliveries, which will be the greatest highlight of this film. The time and energy, he invested in this project are so immense, and Bharathan Pictures will always remember his heart-warming gesture of supporting us forever. I am confident that Bagheera will have unlimited entertainment for the audiences, and Adhik Ravichandran’s screenwriting will keep everyone engrossed from beginning till end.”
