Producer Naga Vamsi expresses confidence in Suriya’s Vishwanath and Sons
Producer Naga Vamsi has voiced strong confidence in Suriya’s forthcoming film Vishwanath and Sons, describing it as a film with broad family appeal and predicting that it will perform exceptionally well in theatres.
In a recent interview, the producer said his optimism about the project increased after witnessing the success of Karuppu. Having already watched the completed film, he stated that he believes audiences will connect with it and called it a complete entertainer suited for family viewing.
Directed by Venky Atluri, Vishwanath and Sons follows Sanjay Vishwanath, a celebrated pistol shooter in his forties. The story centres on the emotional developments that unfold after Maddy, a younger woman, falls in love with him despite their significant age gap. The narrative explores how this relationship influences their lives within the framework of a family drama.
The cast features Mamitha Baiju opposite Suriya, along with Radhika Sarathkumar, Raveena Tandon, Nassar, Sudha, Raghu Babu, Sunil Reddy, Bhavani Sre, Viva Harsha, Kaali Venkat, George Maryan, Hyper Aadhi, Srija Ravi, Sarvadaman Banerjee, Mathew Varghese, Kalyani Natarajan, Karate Karthik, and Master Charvik.
The film is jointly produced by Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, with Srikara Studios presenting the project. G. V. Prakash Kumar has composed the music, Nimish Ravi is handling cinematography, and Navin Nooli is in charge of editing.
Vishwanath and Sons is slated for a worldwide theatrical release on August 14. Along with the film, Suriya also has upcoming collaborations with directors Jithu Madhavan and T. J. Gnanavel, making it one of the key titles in his current lineup.
