Priya Bhavani Shankar commences shooting for Demonte Colony 3
Actress Priya Bhavani Shankar has officially begun filming for Demonte Colony 3, the highly anticipated third installment of director Ajay Gnanamuthu’s popular Tamil horror franchise.
The news was confirmed by the actress herself, who shared a behind-the-scenes picture from the set, captioning it, “Lady with the braid is back First day. Lights on. Shadows waiting. #DemonteColony3 #DayOne #TheEndIsTooFar Let’s have some fun.”
The film, which boasts the intriguing tagline “The End Is Too Far,” kicked off its production with a traditional pooja ceremony in Chennai.
Priya Bhavani Shankar reprises her role from the second installment, reuniting with lead actor Arulnithi, who has been a constant in the franchise known for setting new benchmarks in Tamil horror cinema.
Adding to the returning cast, Meenakshi Govindarajan and Archana Ravichandran are also part of the ensemble.
The musical score for ‘Demonte Colony 3’ will be composed by Sam CS, who also handled the music for the previous installment.
The project is being jointly produced by Fashion Studios and Gold Mine Films.
