President Droupadi Murmu confers National Award to M S Bhaskar, Parking movie director, G V Prakash

At the prestigious 71st National Film Awards, President Droupadi Murmu presented honors to several figures from Tamil cinema, celebrating their exceptional contributions.

The film Parking was a big winner, with its star M.S. Bhaskar and director Ramkumar Balakrishnan both receiving awards.

Bhaskar was presented with the Best Supporting Actor award for his compelling performance in Parking, which was also named the Best Tamil Film.

The film’s director, Ramkumar Balakrishnan, was recognized with the Best Original Screenplay award for his masterful storytelling.

In the music category, composer G.V. Prakash Kumar was honored with the award for Best Music Direction (Songs) for his work on the film Vaathi.

This marks his second National Award, cementing his position as one of the industry’s most talented composers.
