Prashanth-starrer Andhagan release gets pushed in advance
Andhagan, starring actor Prashanth in the lead role, was initially scheduled to release on August 15 for the occasion of Independence Day.
The makers on Wednesday, announced that the film’s release has been pushed in advance by a week. Andhagan will now hit the big screens on August 9.
The film is a remake of hit Hindi film Andhadhun which released in 2018 and was received well with positive responses.
Now after six years, the film is getting a Tamil remake, with Prashanth starring as the protagonist.
The film is helmed by Prashanth’s father and actor Thiagarajan and is produced by Shanthi Thiagarajan.
Santhosh Narayanan has scored the music for the film. Ravi Yadav has cranked the camera and editing is by Sathish Suriya.
