‘Powder’ film now streaming on Jio Cinema, receives great response from fans

‘Following netizens’ wide accolades, ‘Powder’ team plans to re-release the movie in theatres

Vijay Sri G who directed ‘Dha Dha 87’ with actor Chaaru Haasan, and is currently making ‘Haraa’ starring Mohan and a movie starring Amala Paul’s brother Abhijit Paul, helmed ‘Powder’ starring publicist Nikil Murukan which received praise from various quarters when it was released in theatres.

‘Powder’ is now making its presence felt in the OTT space too. The film streaming on Jio Cinema is getting great response from netizens and new-age audience. Following this, ‘Powder’ team is planning to re-release the movie in theatres.

In ‘Powder’, the scenes in which director Vijay Sri G plays a submissive husband, especially the scene where he invites his wife for shopping early in the morning after getting money, are being appreciated by the fans. Vaiyapuri and Anithra Nair’s sentimental father-daughter scenes have touched the hearts of fans. After ‘Powder’, Vaiyapuri is getting opportunities to act in various films including ‘Leo’.

Publicist Nikil Murukan delivered matured performance as a police officer in ‘Powder’. Those who have seen him in multi-coloured outfits in cinema events are enjoying his khaki uniform in ‘Powder’.
