PMK poll manifesto promises aplenty

The PMK has promised free education including in private schools, waiver of higher education loans, improving infrastructure of State Government schools and Anna University and University of Madras in their election manifesto for the 2021 Assembly polls.

The manifesto was released by PMK founder S Ramadoss and received by party president GK Mani on Friday.

Besides, it promised significant measures to enhance health, develop agriculture, ensure social justice for all communities.

The party would ensure Tamils receive 100% preference in State Government jobs and 80% jobs in the private sector. It assured to create a second capital in Tiruchi, while Coimbatore will be declared as the industrial capital.

“Like 7.5% quota extended to government school students, 10.5% quota will be extended for government school students in admission to Anna University and government engineering colleges,” PMK leader S Anbumani Ramadoss said.

The party reiterated its commitment to introduce total prohibition in the State.
