PM Modi’s birthday was celebrated across the nation

On the occasion of his 75th birthday, PM Modi received greetings from political leaders from across the world, including US President Donald Trump, Russian President Vladimir Putin, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, Bhutan PM Tshering Tobgay, UK ex-PM Rishi Sunak and others. Tamil Nadu Governor R N Ravi, Chief Minister M K Stalin, and actor Rajinikanth were also among those who wished PM on his birthday.

Leading Bollywood celebrities such as Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Alia Bhatt and others extended their wishes on social media. Shah Rukh Khan wished the Prime Minister “good health and happiness,” while Aamir Khan conveyed his “warm wishes” to PM Modi on his milestone birthday. Alia Bhatt in her message said that may his “leadership continue to shape the future of our great nation and lead us towards even more progress.”

PM Modi conveyed his gratitude to a host of world leaders for their warm wishes and greetings on his 75th birthday.

The leaders who greeted Modi included Russian President Vladimir Putin, European Commission Chief Ursula von der Leyen, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, Italian PM Giorgia Meloni, Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu and UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed.

Sri Lankan President Anura Kumara Dissanayake, Bhutanese PM Tshering Tobgay, New Zealand PM Christopher Luxon, Myanmar President Min Aung Hlaing, President of Guyana Irfaan Ali and PM of Dominica Roosevelt Skerrit also extended birthday greetings to PM Modi.

Papua New Guinea PM James Marape, Cyprus President Nikos Christodoulides, and Trinidad and Tobago PM Kamla Persad-Bissessar also wished PM Modi.

PM Modi on Wednesday said he was overwhelmed by the countless wishes, blessings and messages of affection that have poured in from across the nation and overseas on his birthday, and he resolved to continue working with even greater energy and devotion to realise the dream of a Viksit Bharat.

In a post on X, Modi said the innumerable wishes and the faith people have reposed in him are a source of great strength.

The prime minister said he sees them as a blessing not for him alone, but for the work “we are doing together to build a better India”.
