Pakistani content creators praise grand scale of Ramayana trailer
The recently released trailer of filmmaker Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana has generated widespread discussion beyond India, with several Pakistani content creators sharing positive reactions to the film’s visuals, scale and performances.
Among those reacting was Pakistani YouTuber Maviya Umer Farooqui, who expressed admiration for the trailer’s production values. He described the film as a visually ambitious project and said the quality of its visual effects reflected the scale of its reported budget. He also praised the screen presence of Ranbir Kapoor and Yash, saying he was eager to watch their performances when the film releases.
Farooqui initially referred to media reports suggesting the film had a budget of around ₹1,000 crore. However, several viewers pointed out in the comments that some reports have estimated the overall cost of the two-part project to be significantly higher.
Another Pakistani creator, Hasnaat Khan, applauded the trailer’s computer-generated imagery, action sequences and visual presentation. He particularly appreciated Yash’s appearance as Ravana and described the trailer as technically impressive.
A separate reaction channel highlighted the introductory scenes of Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita and Yash as Ravana, stating that the trailer promised a fresh cinematic interpretation of the epic.
The YouTube channel Iman Moazzam Entertainment also praised Sai Pallavi’s portrayal of Sita, noting that her traditional appearance suited the character. The channel further complimented the trailer’s background score and visual effects.
Released on July 30, the trailer introduces Ranbir Kapoor as Prince Ram and Yash as Ravana, while showcasing Sai Pallavi as Sita and Ravi Dubey as Lakshman. It follows Ram’s exile, Sita’s decision to accompany him into the forest and the growing conflict with Ravana through a series of large-scale action sequences and visual effects. The trailer notably does not reveal the character of Lord Hanuman, leaving audiences anticipating his appearance in the film.
The trailer has attracted significant attention across social media platforms, with viewers from multiple countries discussing its visuals, performances and technical execution ahead of the film’s release.
