‘Others’ First Look Ignites Buzz in Tamil Cinema’s Medical Crime Thriller Realm!

Tamil cinema is flourishing, thanks to a wave of young talent revolutionizing storytelling, visual aesthetics, and performances. The recently unveiled first look of Others, a gripping medical crime thriller, has captivated audiences, with debutant actor Aditya Madhavan commanding attention as a resolute police officer in the lead role.

This enthralling film features Gouri G. Kishan, known for her roles in 96 and Master, as a dedicated doctor.

Complementing the leads, Others boasts a stellar ensemble cast, including Anju Kurian, Munishkanth, Harish Perady, Mala Parvathy, Jagan, and R. Sundarrajan, promising a dynamic blend of performances.

Abin Hariharan, the sharp editor behind many well-received commercials is debuting as a feature filmmaker with Others.  Started his career as 3D animator in a popular Malayalam Satellite Channel , Abin has carved a name for himself as an advertisement film editor in Dubai. Abin is a well-known name in the corporate world and celebrity photo shoots. On top of his multifaceted skills in editing, animation, and photography, Abin has impressed the film’s producers and cast with his impeccable narration and his swift execution on the sets.

The film’s arresting visuals are crafted by acclaimed cinematographer Aravinnd Singh, renowned for his work on Demonte Colony. Adding depth to the narrative, celebrated music composer Ghibran, whose credits include Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru, Uttama Villain, and Thunivu, is scoring the film’s songs and background music.

The lyrics, penned by Mohan Rajan—known for chart-topping albums like Tourist Family, Lover, and Lubber Pandhu—further elevate the project. Editor Ramar, who has shaped cinematic gems like Vetrimaaran’s Asuran and Viduthalai, brings his expertise to the editing table, while Uma Shanker’s meticulously designed sets perfectly capture the film’s mood and genre.

The Tamil film industry has warmly embraced this talented team of newcomers, with luminaries such as Venkat Prabhu, Arya, Andrea, Aishwarya Rajesh, Vani Bhojan, Era Saravanan, and lyricist Vivek unveiling the film’s first look on their social media platforms, amplifying its buzz.
