Sai Pallavi is one of the prominent actresses of South India. She was last seen in the film Gargi.
In the trailer launch of Chandramukhi2 that was held on September 3, it was reportedly revealed that actress Sai Pallavi turned down the offer she received for Chandramukhi 2.
According to reports, the actress did not reveal the reason as to why she turned to play the role in Chandramukhi 2.
However, it is unclear if the Premam actress was offered the female lead role in the movie.
Chandramukhi 2 is a sequel to the 2005 blockbuster film Chandramukhi that starred Rajinikanth and Jyothika in lead roles. The film is a horror comedy and the sequel of the film is about the original Chandramukhi and Vettaiyan Raja and the story that happened in the kingdom.
The movie features Raghava Lawrence, Kangana Ranaut, Lakshmi Menon, Mahima Nambiar, Vadivelu, Subhiksha, Radhika Sarathkumar, Srusthi Dange.
The film’s music is composed by MM Keeravani and the film is set to release in theatres on September 15.
