Nivin Pauly wraps first schedule as menacing villain ‘Walter’ in Benz
Actor Nivin Pauly has successfully completed the first schedule for his highly anticipated entry into the Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU) with the upcoming action thriller Benz.
The actor took to social media to announce the schedule wrap, sharing intense, rugged behind-the-scenes snapshots captioned cryptically, “Darkness Loading,” amplifying the hype around his shocking new avatar.
Benz is the fourth installment in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s blockbuster universe and will see Pauly in a significant shift from his ‘boy-next-door’ roles.
He is set to play the main antagonist, a character identified as Walter (also referred to as Twin Fish Walter).
Promotional material has already hinted at a complex, fractured persona, suggesting Nivin Pauly might be essaying a double role or a character with multiple shades—a “certified Baddie” who describes himself as “a dirty mind, a beautiful heart… deadly combination.”
The film is directed by Bakkiyaraj Kannan (Remo, Sulthan) with the story crafted by Lokesh Kanagaraj, who is also co-producing the film under his G Squad banner.
Pauly’s Walter is slated to lock horns with Raghava Lawrence, who plays the titular lead character.
With LCU expanding its cast and universe, Nivin Pauly’s menacing look and the completion of the first schedule signal a major cinematic event in the making.
