N4 movie review

Story:

Michael Thangadurai and Afsal Hameed are brothers who work at the Kasimedu fishing harbour.

They both are brought up by Vadivukarasi and live happily with their partners.

Their life takes a turn when a group of youth under the influence of drugs accidentally fires a gun.

This puts the life of Michael and his loved ones in danger. What happens next forms the crux of the story.

Analysis:

Director Lokesh Kumar has set the movie in the backdrop of North Chennai. The writing is one of the major strengths of the movie.

The movie is void of the usual clichés and confrontations. Screenplay is very effective in keeping the proceedings in an interesting manner.

Michael Thangadurai and Afsal Hameed as the brothers have done a decent job. They have delivered a convincing performance. Similarly.

Gabriella Sellus and Vinusha Devi as the female leads have delivered authentic performances. They have got into the skin of their respective characters.

Vadivukarasi and Anupama Kumar are good in their roles. Balasubramanian G’s music gels well with the theme of the movie. Rest of the techincal aspects are appreciable as well.
