Modi holds roadshow with UAE President in Gujarat, opens global trade summit
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, led a grand roadshow on Tuesday from Ahmedabad Airport to Gandhinagar.
A 3-kilometre-long mega roadshow kicked off in the evening after the Prime Minister welcomed the UAE President at the airport.
The foreign ministry shared photos of the Prime Minister greeting the UAE President at the airport with the caption: “Reaffirming the strong bonds of friendship!”
In a post on X, the foreign ministry spokesperson wrote, “In a special gesture PM Narendra Modi warmy received UAE President and Ruler of Abu Dhabi as he arrived at the Ahmedabad airport.”
“His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan is the Chief Guest of the 10th Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit,” the post read.
The procession will wrap up at Indira Bridge, connecting Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar. A senior police official mentioned on Monday that thorough security measures have been implemented for the event, as per news agency.
