“Meesaya Murukku 2” Celebration Event Cancelled in Chennai Following Police Advisory; Fans Disperse Peacefully

The much-anticipated Meesaya Murukku 2 celebration event, which was scheduled to take place this evening at Phoenix Marketcity, Chennai, was cancelled following a police advisory issued in the interest of public safety.

Thousands of enthusiastic fans had gathered at the venue to catch a glimpse of actor-musician and filmmaker Hiphop Tamizha Aadhi and participate in the grand celebrations surrounding the film. As the crowd continued to swell, authorities assessed the situation and advised the organisers to call off the event to prevent any untoward incidents and ensure the safety of attendees.

Respecting the guidance of the police department, the organisers decided to cancel the event. Fans cooperated with the instructions issued by the police and event management team and dispersed peacefully without any disturbance.

Following the cancellation, Hiphop Tamizha Aadhi shared a heartfelt video message on his social media platforms expressing his disappointment at not being able to meet his fans in person. In the video, he conveyed his gratitude for the overwhelming love and support shown by the audience and apologised to those who had travelled to attend the event.
