Maniratnam–Vijay Sethupathi film secures major rights before production
Director Maniratnam’s upcoming film starring Vijay Sethupathi and Sai Pallavi has already generated strong business interest before production begins.
Reports indicate that Netflix has acquired the digital streaming rights, while Home Screen Entertainment has secured the overseas theatrical distribution rights.
The film’s audio rights have also reportedly been sold ahead of filming.
Production is expected to begin on July 5, with Academy Award-winning composer A.R. Rahman handling the music. The makers are expected to officially announce the complete cast and technical crew in the coming weeks.
