Maniratnam to work with new faces after Thug Life?
Director Mani Ratnam, who is awaiting the release of Thug Life starring Kamal Haasan, Silambarasan, Trisha and Abiraami in the lead roles has said that he will soon work with new faces.
“It is just an idea, and I have to make a good script, and have the right people come together. I would like to do, but it should fall into place. There are two things; one the script, and the other is getting suitable artists. Only then the project will take place in the right way,” he said during a promotional event.
It may be noted that Maniratnam has introduced new talents into the industry like Madhavan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, AR Rahman and Arvind Swamy. But it has been long since Mani Ratnam went back to working with fresh faces.
Meanwhile, Thug Life hit the big screens on June 5. Starring Kamal Haasan in the lead role, it will be a gangster action drama, and has music by AR Rahman.
