Malavika Mohanan recalls Rajinikanth’s support in her career
Malavika Mohanan has spoken warmly about her experience working with Superstar Rajinikanth in the 2019 Tamil film Petta.
The actor is currently preparing for the release of Sardar 2, directed by PS Mithran and featuring Karthi and SJ Suryah. The film is scheduled to reach theatres on September 10. Malavika’s recent Tamil projects also include Thangalan and her cameo appearance in Idhayam Murali.
During a fan interaction on Tuesday, Malavika was asked about her experience of working with Rajinikanth in Petta.
She described the collaboration as an especially memorable experience for someone starting out in the industry. According to the actor, Rajinikanth’s encouragement gave her confidence during the early stage of her career.
Malavika said she particularly appreciated the superstar’s willingness to encourage and appreciate newcomers. She added that the support she received from him while working on Petta remains something she values greatly.
