Mahindra gifts formula E themed SUV to actor Ajith Kumar
Mahindra has presented a special Formula E themed SUV to actor and racing enthusiast Ajith Kumar in recognition of his passion for motorsports.
The vehicle, a Mahindra BE Formula E Edition, was handed over to Ajith Kumar by R. Velusamy, President of the Automotive Division of Mahindra.
Ajith Kumar had recently travelled to Dubai to participate in a car racing event. During his stay there, tensions escalated in the Middle East following military strikes involving the United States, Israel and Iran, which disrupted normal activities in several countries in the region.
Due to the situation, Ajith Kumar was temporarily unable to return to Chennai.
His manager Suresh Chandra had earlier confirmed that the actor was safe. Ajith later returned safely to Chennai a few days ago.
Following his return, Mahindra honoured him with the specially designed Formula E themed SUV as a tribute to his long-standing interest in professional racing and motorsports.
