Lokesh Kanagaraj gets a surprise call from Superstar

Lokesh Kanagaraj was signed on by Kamal Haasan’s Raaj Kamal Film International to direct Superstar Rajinikanth’s Thalaivar 169.

But the project did not take off due to various reasons including the COVID 19 pandemic.

Vikram was made instead of that project. It is now said that Rajinikanth has called Lokesh and has asked him to prepare a script for him.

It is said that Rajinikanth has assured to allocate dates by the end of 2023 or by early 2024.

At present Lokesh Kanagaraj is shooting for Leo starring Vijay and is expected to commence Kaithi 2 after that.

We will have to wait and watch if Lokesh gets to direct Rajinikanth.
