Lokah 2 filming to begin in September, Kalyani Priyadarshan confirms return
After the record-breaking success of Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra, work has begun on the sequel, with fresh updates emerging about its production schedule.
Actor Kalyani has now confirmed that she will be part of Lokah Chapter 2, adding momentum to the project that has already generated significant buzz among audiences.
Speaking at a recent event, the actor revealed that the sequel is currently in the scripting stage and is expected to begin filming later this year.
“Lokah 2 script work is going on. Hopefully shooting will begin from September. Yes, I’m part of the film, so wait for it,” she said, confirming her return to the franchise.
Directed by Dominic Arun, Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra blended folklore, fantasy, and emotional drama.
The film followed Chandra, also known as Neeli, a supernatural being navigating challenges in the modern world.
