Latest update about Thiru Manickam OTT release date
Actor and filmmaker Samuthirakani starred in the 2024 film Thiru Manickam in the titular role.
The film released in theatres for this weekend. Post the theatrical run, the film will be available on ZEE5.
The OTT release date has been fixed as January 31.
Produced by GP Ravi Kumar, Chinta Gopala Krishna Reddy, and Raja Senthil under the banner GPRK CINEMAS, the film’s cinematography is handled by M Sukumar.
The music is scored by Vishal Chandrasekar and SP Raja Sethupathi is in charge of the editing.
Thiru Manickam is a family drama, written and directed by Nanda Periyasamy. The star cast includes actors Ananya, Bharathiraja, Thambi Ramaiah, Karunakaran, Chaams, Vadivukarasi, and Ilavarasu.
The film is about the titular character who owns a lottery ticket shop somewhere on the Tamil Nadu-Kerala border.
Known for his love towards his family and his righteous nature, his shop is visited by a poor old man who selects a few lottery tickets and reserves it as he goes to his home to get money.
However, due to his financial problems, the old man does not return, while the ticket he selected wins a bumper prize.
While the shopkeeper thinks the lottery rightfully belongs to the old man, his family coaxes him to think otherwise.
