Latest update about Ponniyin Selvan
Shooting of Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan was taking place from January.
The team had took a break in March and had planned to resume work in April.
However, the shooting was postponed due to the lockdown.
Now the latest update is that the team has resumed shooting for the movie in Puducherry. It is said that 75 per cent of the movie is already over and only 50 days of shooting is left.
The movie has an ensemble of cast including Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Vikram, Trisha Krishnan, Jayam Ravi and Karthi in the lead roles.
The movie is slated to be released in 2022.
