Latest update about Ponniyin Selvan
Shooting of Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan was taking place from January.
The team had took a break in March and had plnned to resume work in April. However, it is now said that the makers have postponed the shooting to June due to the increase in the number of coronavirus cases.
It is also said that the makers are planning to release the first look of the movie in July.
The movie has an ensemble of cast including Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Vikram, Trisha Krishnan, Jayam Ravi and Karthi in the lead roles.
The movie is slated to be released in 2022.
