Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi Unveils Striking Character Visuals from Dayazh Padmanabhan’s Lakshmikanthan Kolai Vazhakku has kept radars ringing with high-intensity anticipation since its beginning. Significantly, the hard-hitting title and swirling curiosities kept the film under spotlights. With the shooting wrapped up, and postproduction nearing completion,  the makers deliver a powerful reveal. Acclaimed actor Vijay Sethupathi has unveiled the film’s character introduction visual, granting a riveting first glimpse into its intense realm.

The 1 minute 27 seconds visual conjures powerful, evocative imagery of the film’s core characters framed behind prison bars, offering a compelling portal into the narrative’s layered intensity. The reveal commands immediate attention with its raw timbre and arresting aesthetics.

The film boasts a promising ensemble cast, including ‘Jiivi’ fame Vetri as Arivumathi, Rangaraj Pandey as Sivanandham, Brigida as Mallika, Saravanan as Sargunam, and Maaran as Murthi, alongside a roster of notable performers who infuse profound depth into the storyline. Elevating these visuals to sublime heights is the masterful musical score by Darbuka Siva.

Lakshmikanthan Kolai Vazhakku is produced by K.V. Shabarreesh under the banner 2M Cinemas,  and is co-produced by Dayazh Padmanabhan for D Pictures, who has handled story, and direction as well. The ensemble star-cast includes Vetri, Rangaraj Pandey, Brigida Saga, Maaran, Saravanan, Lizzie Anthony, Lokah Kannan, Narmadha, Aruvi Madhan, Kanya Bharathy, Kavitha Bharathy, Subramanyam Shiva and others.

Shot extensively in and around Chennai, the film has transitioned into post-production and is close on the heels of completion.
