Kishen Das and Smruthi Venkat’s Tharunam OTT release date announced
Tharunam, the 2025 Tamil film starring Kishen Das and Smruthi Venkat in the lead roles, will begin streaming on Aha Tamil from June 20 onwards.
Written and directed by filmmaker Arvindh Srinivasan, who earlier made Déjà vu with Arulnidhi, Tharunam is a romantic thriller which features Kishen Das, Smruthi Venkat, and Raj Iyappan in prominent roles.
The film revolves around a young CRPF officer who has to smartly make choices after his fiancée commits a grave crime in the spur of the moment, leading to an unexpected and dangerous outcome.
Produced by Pugaz and Eden under Zhen Studios, the film has music by Darbuka Siva.
The technical crew also includes Raja Bhattacharjee cranking the camera and editor Arul Elango Siddharth.
Tharunam was one of the films which released in theatres for Pongal. The film opened to mixed reviews upon its release.
